SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOLS

In 2008, Premier Soccer Experiences will be offering both weeklong community soccer schools during the months of July and August as well as a residential “Soccer Academy” at Shawnigan Lake School near Duncan on Vancouver Island.

The 2008 Academy will feature opportunities for both coaches and players (age 10-16) to increase their skills and knowledge of the game at the peerless facilities at one of the province’s top private schools.

Started in 2003, our weekly schools are now being offered in a number of interior communities in addition to Pitt Meadows and Mission, our traditional venues for the last five years.

Over 3,000 players have taken part in PSE soccer schools since the company started operating them five summers ago.

The weekly schools generally run from 9:30am to 11:30am, Monday to Friday, with the exception of our interior schools, where the time frame is altered to accommodate travel distances, the summer heat, and other considerations.

In 2005, PSE added specialist goalkeeper schools, which ran in the afternoon. The success of these camps has encouraged us to offer them again in 2008 at selected times. The instructor at PSE GK schools is Gord Rogers, former technical director of the BCSA and a former top-level goalkeeper in BC’s top amateur leagues.

In addition to the regular schools, PSE conducts a number of “team” schools every year. These special camps are conducted upon request and are designed to give teams a high level of coaching instruction and tactical awareness training. More than 20 teams have taken advantage of this offer over the last five years.

The focus at all PSE Soccer Schools is on polishing fundamental skills, tactics, the advantages of a positive attitude, and most of all, that the game of soccer is all about having FUN while learning at the same time.

SOCCER ACADEMY @ SHAWNIGAN LAKE (5 nights accommodation + all meals included)
Individual Fee: $695.00* • 2 Players, same family: $1,340.00* • 3 or more players, same family: $1,965.00*
*Price does not include transportation costs to and from Shawnigan Lake School

NON-RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS (2-hours per day/Players Age 6 to 14):
Individual Fee: $95.00 • 2 players, same family: $175.00 • 3 or more players, same family: $250.00

GOALKEEPERS-ONLY SCHOOLS (2-hours per day/Players Age 10 to 16):
Individual Fee: $100.00  • 2 players, same family: $180.00 • 3 or more players from the same family: $270.00
